Five Star Urgent Care Opens Ninth Facility
A few of our team members had an eventful weekend in Vestal, New York! We’ve been assisting Five Star Urgent Care with a grand opening event for their ninth location in New York State. From social media promotion to public relations – our team’s work led up to the big event this past weekend.
Five Star Urgent Care is one of Upstate New York’s fastest urgent care providers. Along with offering treatment for all non-life-threatening ailments, each facility offers occupational medical services to assist companies with their human resource needs. The company opened its first facility in Big Flats, New York in 2012. Since then, Five Star has added eight more locations, operating nine facilities throughout New York State.
To ensure the company had a warm welcome into the Binghamton community, 19 Ideas assisted Five Star with a wealth of event-focused services. Our team created, designed, and implemented radio, print, television, and social media ads to run before the grand opening as well as once the facility was opened. These ads helped maximize attendance while educating the public about their services. A full-blown media relations strategy was executed, earning the attention of The Syracuse Post-Standard, WICZ, WIVT, and the Central New York Business Journal.
As for the event itself, our team worked together with Five Star to create several branded items including a complex event plan to ensure a smooth run of the show. Broome County Legislator Kelly F. Wildoner and members of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce welcomed Five Star into the community by cutting the ribbon with Five Star Urgent Care President John Radford. As for the younger members of the community, we worked alongside Five Star to create a teddy bear wellness clinic, complete with branded bears and wellness certificates, to help dispel the fears that children may have of the doctor’s office. Our friends at Smokey Legend BBQ fed hungry visitors with a complimentary warm meal throughout the event.
From start to finish, Five Star Urgent Care’s grand opening was a successful launch that we were proud to help with. We even got a chance to meet Five Star Urgent Care’s lovable mascot, Remedy.
