Some might describe Rob as bookish and nerdy, and they’d be mostly right. Away from the office, you’ll often find him reading history, travel diaries or adventure fiction, practicing a new language or combing through boxes of yellowed photos and maps at Antique World. He might also be expanding his garden or DIY-ing his hundred-year-old house. If he’s with obliging friends, he’s probably hounding them to play a board game. But regardless where you find him, Rob’s extensive collection of ’80s music is probably playing in the background. He spends his best days exploring a new corner of the world from small WNY towns to cities in Europe; it makes him the go-to friend we ask for unique recommendations.
If you’re reading this and know where a time machine is hidden, call Rob: he’s on a mission to attend Buffalo’s 1901 Pan American Exhibition.
