Rob is a proven-successful Project Manager with over 20 years of marketing management experience in education, employment and retail. Matching the priority of a task with the traffic of a professional team, Rob keeps every deliverable on the right track with his steadfast belief in the ABCs: accuracy, brevity and clarity. Starting out as a Project Coordinator for Cornell Career Services, he inaugurated both the first departmental website and online graduate survey, and only continued pushing boundaries at the University of California, Berkeley Career Center and Buffalo’s own Haley Marketing. There, he enjoyed award-winning successes managing web and collateral projects for over 300 staffing companies nationwide, now bringing this expertise to the team at 19 IDEAS. Rob is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor’s in History with advanced study in English, Spanish and Russian.
Some might describe Rob as bookish and nerdy, and they’d be mostly right. Away from the office, you’ll often find him reading history, travel diaries or adventure fiction, practicing a new language or combing through boxes of yellowed photos and maps at Antique World. He might also be expanding his garden or DIY-ing his hundred-year-old house. If he’s with obliging friends, he’s probably hounding them to play a board game. But regardless where you find him, Rob’s extensive collection of ’80s music is probably playing in the background. He spends his best days exploring a new corner of the world from small WNY towns to cities in Europe; it makes him the go-to friend we ask for unique recommendations.
If you’re reading this and know where a time machine is hidden, call Rob: he’s on a mission to attend Buffalo’s 1901 Pan American Exhibition.
