Spoilers below, duh.

Lead actress of Izembaro’s Braavosi theatre troupe confirmed dead

Edmure Tully surrenders Riverrun

Mother of Dragons returns to Meereen

KING’S LANDING, WESTEROS – King Tommen Baratheon – Lord of The Seven Kingdoms, King of the Andals and the First Men, and the First of His Name – today discontinued the longstanding practice of trial by combat. As a collaborative decision between The Crown and The High Sparrow, King Baratheon found the alterative judging process brutish and ineffective. Reports speculate that Queen Mother Cersei Lannister was set to have a trial by combat, electing her guard Ser Gregor Clegane – “The Mountain” – as her champion. The Crown has refused comment.

In Braavos, sources confirm the murder of actress Lady Crane. Sources cannot confirm whether Crane was involved with an earlier street brawl between two girls. Until her death, she portrayed Cersei Lannister in the popular play, The Bloody Hand.

Minutes after reclaiming his title as Lord of Riverrun, Ser Edmure Tully surrendered to Ser Jaime Lannister – “Kingslayer” – and his army. While the castle was rightfully owned by Ser Walder Frey, Brynden Tully – “The Blackfish” – had it illegitimately occupied. Ser Edmure, following time as a prisoner of the Freys, overruled his uncle and ceded Riverrun to Ser Jaime.

Further east in Essos, Daenerys Targaryen – Mother of Dragons, The Unburnt, Breaker of Chains, the First of Her Name, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea – returned to her home of Meereen upon the back of her dragon, Drogon. Her timely arrival parallels the recent civil war that has broken out in the capital city – stemming from recent betrayal by the masters of Astaphor, Yunkai and Volantis. Targaryen’s stand-in advisor, Tyrion Lannister, promised the masters seven years to extinguish slavery in return for ceased funding to the Sons of the Harpy.
