19 IDEAS and Public Espresso Announce Partnership
Public Espresso co-owner and founder Sam Scarcello joins 19 IDEAS as Marketing & Content Manager; Public Espresso taps 19 IDEAS to lead marketing strategy for next phase in startup’s evolution
BUFFALO, NY (August 1, 2018) – Today, integrated communications agency 19 IDEAS and coffee roastery and café Public Espresso + Coffee announced a partnership that aligns the organizations’ strong community ties, expertise and complementary resources. The collaboration strengthens the businesses’ shared commitment to entrepreneurial growth and connection with local businesses and the broader community.
As part of the partnership, Public Espresso co-owner and founder Sam Scarcello will join 19 IDEAS as Marketing & Content Manager, where he will help drive content strategy and execution. His hire elevates 19 IDEAS’ focus on day-to-day brand storytelling across digital and social platforms, aimed to engage customer bases, incite action and drive impact. Additionally, Public Espresso has tapped 19 IDEAS with being its primary marketing and communications agency to help the company carry out its longer-term vision for future growth in and outside of Western New York.
“This collaboration ties perfectly to our company’s focus on channeling an enterprising mindset into dynamic client service, rooted in this community,” said Katie Krawczyk, Partner & President at 19 IDEAS. “Sam brings an incredible proven track record as a business owner, marketer and community ambassador. He further deepens our team’s expertise while helping us to expand innovative storytelling solutions for our clients. He is also the ideal fit for the entrepreneurial culture that we continue to grow.”
“I’m beyond excited to be joining the team at 19 IDEAS and to collaborate with other business owners to help share their stories in meaningful ways,” said Scarcello. “Katie Krawczyk and the team understand the potential that visual media wields. Like I have with my own business, my goal is to unleash the unique potential that exists within each and every client.”
“Our business is at a distinct crossroads,” said James Rayburg, co-founder, head roaster and wholesale manager at Public Espresso. “We’ve grown from a small stand at a farmer’s market to a full-scale café with our own bakery, espresso bar and coffee roastery. As we grow, it’s important that our messaging and identity remains as consistent as the coffee and service we provide to our guests. Collaborating with 19 IDEAS will allow us to focus on our business knowing our story is in good hands.”
The partnership reflects the shared commitment of 19 IDEAS and Public Espresso to leverage impactful synergies between content and storytelling. The companies launched a new video to commemorate the news.
The Marketing & Content Manager role is new to 19 IDEAS, created specifically to complement the burgeoning environment for entrepreneurs and big thinkers the company has championed since its inception. Several 19 IDEAS employees are small business founders, freelance writers and startup leaders – anchored by Partner & Director of Possibilities, Dan Gigante, a 20-year entrepreneur veteran who has helped establish nationally successful companies including 26 Shirts, You and Who and clevermethod.
In addition to his role with 19 IDEAS, Sam will also continue his position as co-owner and founder of Public Espresso – guiding the company’s marketing and growth strategy.
